We recognise that each participant’s journey is different and the importance of maintaining positive and respectful relationships with them and their inner trust circles. That is why we will develop a respectful, professional, and recovery-enabling relationship with all our participants, their families, relevant stakeholders, and carers. This relationship will be built on trust and a shared understanding of the participant’s goals and needs so they can focus on working through the ups and downs of their recovery journey.

We will collaboratively develop and maintain our participants' recovery plan. The Recovery Plan will support the participant and optimize available resources, including, their NDIS funding and access to relevant community services.

Based on the individual needs of our participants and their preferences we will endeavor to match our participants with the most suitable recovery coach. Our recovery coaches will engage with the participant and support them to take more control of their lives. Additionally, the recovery coaches will support the participant to better manage the complex challenges of day-to-day living and articulate and own what a contributing life means for them and their families.

Our recovery coaches, through lived and learned knowledge understand firsthand the impacts that mental health can have on a person and how important it is to have access to & engage with mainstream, community, and funded supports.
This is why our recovery coaches will help participants coordinate services and support them to access a range of different resources and services in a way that helps them work towards their goals identified in their Recovery Plan.

We measure our success on our clients' successes and accomplishments. Therefore our recovery coaches will work collaboratively with our clients and relevant stakeholders to prepare and complete progress reports. These progress reports will be completed quarterly (every three months) and will act as a gauge on whether the supports as designed are meeting our clients’ expectations and needs.

Collaboratively with our participants, our recovery coaches will complete progress reports to help evaluate progress and to demonstrate that supports are meeting our participant expectations and needs.
Additionally, our recovery coaches will provide progress reports to the participant, the NDIS, and agreed-on relevant stakeholders at the approved times. Progress reports will outline how NDIS funds and other resources are being effectively utilized to progress goals identified in the participant’s Recovery Plan.

Peer Supervision

Why peer supervision? – Peer work in mental health is a specific practice approach that requires more than a lived experience of mental distress. Peer Work requires the application of both lived experience of mental distress and recovery, coupled with the learned experience of how to skillfully and through mindful practice, draw on one’s own experiences to support the healing of others. Peer Supervision is a shared reflective practice process whereby a person with significant peer work experience and skills supports the peer worker to explore, develop and grow their peer work practice.

We offer one on one peer supervision over the phone, online, or face to face. We provide one-hour sessions for reflective practice supervision, drawing on your strengths, skills, and experience to help you explore and grow your peer work practice.
Group-based peer supervision is a fantastic team-building exercise, building strong, collaborative practice cultures and enhancing individual and team-based practice skills. Through group supervision, we will explore the strengths and skills of individuals and the team and draw on this to celebrate success and grow peer work values-based practice in your organization.
